The sear drops straight down into the chassis to release the striker. Pretty easy to see when your slide is off the gun. Glocks are partially cocked when racked. In time they will break-in and get easier to load. I typically will only load 10 rounds in 12 round magazine for the first few range sessions. Before you know it inserting round 11, then 12 will not be an issue. Gun shipped with 2 faulty mags, (followers are sticking at the top causing slide to not lock open on last round) called sig, sending me a ship label.I will say that at near 700,000 Sig P365's in Shooters hands the thought that you will experience a issue with your P365 is hugely remote! I'd just be careful about any real modifications or aftermarket parts for warranty, EDC function, and liability reasons. I have a Sig flat trigger on my P365, but consider that a Sig designed option, not a modification.Lot of words - but know this, A Sig P365 or a Sig P320, in my mindset are notable weapons that will carry well - but most importantly - will work..... Looking for opinions on the use of Winchester White box in my P365 for Range use. I load with the Sig 115 Grain V-Crown for Carry and usually use Remington UMC for Range usage due to low cost. Have had no troubles with the UMC on the range, nor any trouble with Blazer Brass. .
