I don't see any evidence of a leak though there must be one somewhere. I feel fairly confident in my "fix it" abilities, I was mainly on the look out for some gotchas that might come up. Plus I just spent about $650.00 on new Michelin x-Terrains and it looks like the new pump is going to be about $300.00.
Some updates on this. Surprised it lasted almost a year without much leak. But now, it's really starting to leak power steering fluid on the ground. Got a quote at Canadian tire to replace the rack and pinion came out to 1700 CAD, aftermarter part + labour + ps flush + alignment. Sigh.
