I bought the serialized FCU back in March or April, and have been ordering parts as they have become available. Very few or the parts are actually Sig, but they were by far the hardest to get. I used an Icarus Precision aluminum grip module, Zaffiri Precision ... Rich Jenkins. Shoot more to settle those in as the foundation of everything else. The ergonomics/mechanics have to work for you (isosceles, weaver, modified weaver etc- each has pros and cons).
The P365 magazines, when new, are known to be difficult to fully load. In time they will break-in and get easier to load. I typically will only load 10 rounds in 12 round magazine for the first few range sessions. Before you know it inserting round 11, then 12 will not be an issue. You might also consider a mag loading device like the Maglula ...

The biggest obstacle is likely "Don't use that on our range pls." For the most part the P365 for the last year has been done right with few issues that would be of note. Dec 12, 2023 · By 2020, most all of the original parts changes had been made by Sig, if I recall correctly (bad initial batch of striker tips, relief cut to address "barrel peening". Obviously there's ongoing upgrades by the factory, so the only sure way to get "the latest" is buy a new production gun. I use a Wheeler sight pusher and has worked great on all my Sigs (including P365) as well as 1911's. You can usually find them much cheaper on EBay. I think I paid about $85 for mine. I've had a Shield 9mm for about 3 years and a P365 for less than a month. The P365's felt recoil is less, the slide is much easier to rack, it's slightly smaller and lighter, has a better trigger than a stock Shield and it's more accurate in my hands at 7 yards. They have become my EDC's, not both at the same time, and I am very pleased with them.
