You want either 40 or 50 vit depending on personal preference. For pve I'd recommend 40 vit 50 str. Every armor set is good, it just depends on what you want. For the base game armor, well, I always go with light or medium Vanir armor coz it looks cool af and gives Grit.

My main base is currently in the jungle near Descent of Dagon. Picked my spot because of good access to iron. I had planned to move to the NW but I’ve put too much time into this spot now. Instead I placed outposts near eyelet lake, the mounds, and the northern aqueduct for various reasons.
