We own a 2018 Outback limited with the RAB and never had issues before, but the last 2 mornings with clear weather it thinks something is behind us. It will beep, then apply brakes and then disable. To turn off RAB there are two different icons and for some reason people tend to press the icon than turns off the warning but not the icon that turns off the braking. Eyesight can be fussy about lighting, dust, condensation etc but it should be occasionally off, not frequently. Your dealer should do a full recalibration as a minimum. If they won't, try another dealer or call SOA and explain the issue.Damaged bumper is dented and scratched, Car and Starlink alerting me to issue with RAB. A couple of deep scratches on the body panel that runs from behind rear passenger wheel back behind and under bumper. I'm guessing this is at least $1000 for bumper replacement.
