Selmer already has pro models between the Axos and the Supreme: the Series II alto and the Series III tenors. They did not cancel these models (yet). Best thing to do is find a vintage soloist, but eBay has over-inflated their values. The next best options are to try a metal soloist (which Selmer still produces and WWBW sells.) Lazarro Alto Saxophone. I got the Lazarro Alto sax for $250 bucks. I love it. I'm playing by myself mostly. I don't have the best sound on alto, but I like what this horn gives me. Really glad to have it. If you like the instrument and the instrument suits you, then stick with it.
