2024 38 weeks and 3 cm dilated

Dilation has progressed from last week. I chose to do cervical checks I know it doesn’t necessary indicate when birth is coming but I like to know. Last week at 36 weeks I was 1.5 cm 0% effaced and today at 37 weeks I’m 3 cm and 60% effaced so I do feel that is some progress.. Dumps 201

I had mine stripped with my first since I was past my due date by 9 days. I went into labor the next morning. Had mine on Monday, was 2cm and 50% effaced.Yep! 3cm and 80% effaced from 36 weeks to when I was induced at 39+6. It's nice to be dilated that way if you do get induced you shouldn't need cervical ripener. Other than that, dilation doesn't mean much. I was sitting at 3cm for 4 weeks.
