This is what worked for me. Took an old moto g4 and uninstalled the August app after force stop and clearing data. Went to apkpure and downloaded the 11.9.0 apk. version of the app and installed it. Logged in and ran the new device setup. Worked perfectly! My regular phone now works with wifi again the all the signals are good. Hope this helps
