Cva wolf v2 vs optima v2.
So far in both my CVA Optima V2 and my son's Wolf we've shot both Harvester crush rib & smooth black sabots, T/C Superglide sabots, Hornady sabots that come with SST hi-speed low drag, and Hornady .44/.50 & .45/.50 sabots. All have shot well from both rifles. The crush ribs definitely load easier, as advertised.

The Optima's barrel is 2" longer, has a different style lever that breaks the barrel open, the optima is available with a thumb hole stock,optima has a trigger thats just a little bit lighter in weight. I have a .50 cal Optima V2 and it's all I'd ever need in an inline muzzleloader. I've used 200 TC shockwaves over 100 gr BH 209. When hunting where bear would also be in season, I've used 300 gr Hornady SST over 110 gr of BH 209. Usable 100 yard accuracy from both. Oklahoma. I have optima v2. Very well made. 2 ½ lb trigger. I understand optima and accura barrels both from Bergara, but accura is premium barrel. Recently tested some 200 gr Smack Down by Traditons of similar style that did well with 90 gr BH. It also did well on 240 gr XPT style with 80 gr BH.
