A healthy 038 mag will pull a 28” bar and full comp chain in soft wood no problem. Hard wood will slow it down a little, just like any other saw. I run a 28” light bar and RS chain on mine. Got another with a 20” bar EXL chain and 8 pin rim sprocket.Right now the biggest gripe with Trump and China is intellectual property theft, and these saws fall 100% in this category. The Chinese have stolen intellectual property from Stihl and Husqvarna and are making a profit off it. To put things in perspective, I also own 2 372XPW's, an 038 Magnum, a real 090, and a real 090G.The Stihl carbs are the Walbro (WA-1D, WA-86D, WT-15A). All of these are NLA. For the past 7 days I've been searching the internet for an owners manual for my "new" Homelite 240 chainsaw. I know that it's 39.3cc, that the fuel/oil ratio is 32:1, that it can run either a 16" or 18 guide bar. The spec sheet has been found thanks to a link posted to ArboristSite. On the 352 one AV spring is actually connected directly to the motor. The 352 actually felt much stiffer and as if it's really not the same build as the cheaper 310. Based upon today's results my thinking is the cost difference between the cs 310 and cs 352 is justified.

If you are going with a one saw plan and getting into 24" wood, the 362 is the obvious choice. 50cc saws are nice, but only if you have a 70cc+ saw to handle the bigger stuff. I loosened the bar nut, loosened the chain tensionioning screw, and got the chain tension back to normal. re tightened the bar nut, started her up, and ran fine for a few minutes, then chain went taught again.
