Protect can only be used with protect hardware. You would need UniFi hardware that can run protect (like a CloudKey or UniFi Dream Machine) and UniFi cameras. If you want to run Protect, you need an appropriate device to run it: CK G2+, Protect NVR, UDM-Pro, or UDM-SE. I would not recommend the CK anymore.Overview.
